Zimbabwean offered an Honorary Doctorate Degree at the age of 25.
Varaidzo Kativhu is one of the youngest people to be awarded such a degree.
An education activist from Zimbabwe, Varaidzo Vee Kativhu, was recently offered an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Bradford at the age of 25 making her one of the youngest people to be awarded such a degree.
Varaidzo Vee Kativhu is an education activist and founder of Empowered By Vee, a youth empowerment organization. Kativhu holds degrees from Oxford and Harvard universities and has been recognized for her efforts to bridge the gap of inequality in education. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Educational Leadership . The educational advocate enjoys volunteering and fundraising for education-focused charities and is currently an active ambassador for United World Schools, CAMFED, and GirlUp Zimbabwe. Kativhu uses her YouTube channel and social media platforms to share practical study advice and empower underprivileged and underrepresented young people.
Kativhu received a Diana Award Legacy Award from Prince Harry and Prince William
